My pictures are mainly random pictures I have found on my phone. So that’s a picture of a red cappuccino. It’s not my face. Where I cannot find an interesting or suitable image from my stash I make use of WordPress resources.
Now that’s out the way…
Between the ages of 35 and 60 the average employed person remunerated monthly will have 300 paychecks. Understanding how finite the time is between mid-career and scheduled retirement has had a profound impact on me.
It has made me more determined to make my working time purposeful and significant as well as make me evaluate my choices carefully.
This site is a vehicle for me to share some of the thoughts that enter my brain on a daily basis. Mainly because I can. I hope that something you read on this site will inspire you to make some change in your life and make your 300 paychecks count too. I do not profess to be an expert on any topic, however, I liberally exercise my ability to express my opinion on any topic.
I sincerely hope that one day we can look back at our journey into the prime of our working lives and feel that we made every month and every available paycheck count. That we are fulfilled, that we have made a difference and that we have contributed.
I post every 15 days on average. Another fun fact is that I schedule my content in advance. At any given time I have at least 10 posts scheduled for the future. This means that if I was to pass away unexpectedly, you would be able to enjoy 10 more posts from me from the grave.
